The App That Unifies All Insurance in One Place
Nomad Insurance is a mobile application that enables individuals and professionals to manage their insurance on a single platform. With a remarkable concept, the app required simplification for better usability and approachability. Through improvements in UX, a reevaluation of user flows, and a more polished design, the updated app streamlines navigation for both users and brokers.
Insurance Management Through UX Design
I first met with the team to understand their goals and needs, analyzed the existing prototypes to pinpoint improvement areas, and collected feedback to optimize the product. I then focused on refining the user flow and designing wireframes on usability and accessibility.
My goal was to provide a seamless user experience by simplifying the onboarding process and enriching their interaction with a playful design. To achieve this, I developed a comprehensive design system featuring larger buttons, cohesive colour palettes, engaging illustrations, and stylized icons to elevate the user experience, making the insurance world more accessible for every user.
The results
The redesigned Nomad Insurance app notably improved user satisfaction, simplifying insurance management for both individuals and brokers. The enhanced user flow and playful design increased onboarding completion rates, while the cohesive design system provided a polished and approachable interface. By making insurance accessible and engaging, the updated app successfully bridges the gap between functionality and user-friendly innovation.
