Beauty Made Easy: Luxton Aesthetics Debuts Mobile Booking App

Luxton Aesthetics is a cosmetic treatment provider that was founded in 2007. They offer high-quality non-surgical aesthetic treatments to make them accessible to everyone. With a focus on empathetic and honest advice, they strive to help people feel more confident in their appearance.

To better serve their clients, Luxton Aesthetics needed a mobile app that would make it easier for them to book appointments and receive reminders for upcoming ones. The app is designed to provide users with information about the various treatments offered, and it also serves as an e-commerce center where users can purchase care products.

UX Strategy

I was the Lead UX Designer for Luxton Aesthetic’s mobile app, where I conducted extensive research, created personas, and integrated user insights into every phase of the design process. The objective was to create a user-friendly app that smoothly guides users through booking a treatment. The strategy aimed to inform, reassure, and simplify the navigation on the app.

Booking process

Luxton Aesthetic’s UX strategy is designed to make the booking process simple for its users. I have created a three-step journey that can be accessed through user-friendly panels. First, users can explore the treatment options on the dedicated page to learn more about each offering. Second, they can easily navigate the appointment details section to select their preferred dates and times. Finally, our streamlined payment process ensures a hassle-free transaction, completing the booking journey seamlessly. We prioritise simplicity and efficiency to provide the users with a stress-free experience, empowering them to confidently focus on their self-care trip.

The results

I improved the Luxton Aesthetics mobile app by implementing the UX strategy that prioritized user-centric design principles and advanced security measures. The streamlined booking process, personalized experiences, and transparent communication regarding data privacy have significantly improved user engagement and loyalty. The perfect blend of convenience, security, and user-focused design has cemented our position as a trusted brand in non-invasive cosmetic treatments.
